Dita has of course worn Atsuko’s designs on numerous occasions but her busy schedule means she doesn’t usually have too much time for shopping.

Fortunately, whilst she was in London promoting her new perfume she had time on this trip to visit.

Inevitably Dita is now followed by the paparazzi and this was no exception. However, very little phases her and she remained calm and relaxed throughout and of course looks amazing at all times.

Dita tweeted after her visit ‘Fitting at @AtsukoKudoLatex in london for some sleek lacy latex stockings & lingerie, plus a special costume for StripStripHooray…’

Her StripStripHooray tour starts on May 10th in LA and continues around the western part of the US from there.

As ever we’re looking forward to seeing Dita in Atsuko’s latex creations and also to next year when hopefully the tour will come to London and the rest of Europe.

Paloma Faith wears an Atsuko Kudo 50’s cup catsuit in the video for the first single from her 2nd album. The catsuit is teamed with a long sleeve blue lace dress by Wendy Benstead.

The track is ‘Picking Up the Pieces’ a beautiful piece of melancholy pop with a sumptuous video to match. (Watch the official video here)

Ultimately, Paloma melts into a vision of latex, lace and wax…. and of course continues to look divine throughout!

Shot on location at Bowlmor, Times Square NYC, Solange first sports an AK 50′s cup bra in red combined with a Crystal skirt which is actually jade green but appears as an ivory/white shade in the bowling alley! Either way the combination is hot when teamed with those to-die-for Prada flame heels and Frankie Morello fur jacket.

Solange then looks totally cool in Atsuko’s beautiful Kitty collar with SDF combined with gorgeous Diane von Furstenberg appliqué top.

Artist Rei Nadal offers a unique take on Fashion Fetish by curating the SHOWstudio Tumblr for a one-week period from 2-8 April 2012 inclusive. Her work juxtaposes found imagery with phrases and self-portraits – postmodern poetry for the visual age – fuelled in this instance by a selection of objects, cosmetics and fashion items delivered daily to her home. Nadal can choose to incorporate these into her work or not according to her creative urges, each daily selection available for twenty-four hours only (09:00 CET – 09:00 CET). Nadal will also interact with the viewing audience via the ‘Ask’ feature on Tumblr.

When I saw the dress this morning I though I was going to look fat in it. But it turned out to be so flattering! So I feel very beautiful.
And it also made me feel sexually aroused.

Hello Laura. I was asked why woman are my fetish before. Well, this woman is one of the reasons.
And, yes, I see why you suggest that. But I don’t wish to have a- let’s call it- formal recording of these days. The nature of this project is having 24 hours dreams with these amazing pieces. So, like with dreams, I’ll end up forgetting details, even the relevant parts.
And anyways, I cannot capture the feelings I’m getting in these garments. I cannot capture the taste of the leather gag I wore yesterday, or the smell of latex on my skin from today’s dress.
It’s beautiful because it’ll vanish. Beautiful and tragic.

Atsuko Kudo is very happy to have been asked to contribute a special commission piece to the current exhibition at SHOWstudio Gallery’s ‘Selling Sex’ exhibition. The piece designed and produced for the show is entitled ‘Armour for Prostitutes’ and marks a further development of Atsuko’s signature couture style.

The ensemble includes a one piece fully filigreed dress and hood combination in black which also has built in neck and waist corsets. This is worn over a cloud grey bustled petticoat – with additional extensive filigree around the hem. It is further accessorised with matching Diana lace filigree black latex over boots and opera gloves.

The ‘Selling Sex’ exhibition contains the work of female artists exclusively. This is a direct response to the lack of female artists’ representation in major galleries and the wider under representation in the creative and other industries.

Other artists in the show include Una Burke, Sarah Lucas, Betony Vernon, Liz Cohen, Lisa Z. Morgan and Marianne Maric amongst others.

The show opened with a very well attended private view on March 22nd including SHOWstudio’s founder and legendary photographer Nick Knight.

The gallery is at SHOWstudio Shop at 1 – 9 Bruton Place, London, W1J 6LT and is open Monday to Friday 11.00 to 18.00.
